Bride In Black, what color should the Bridesmaids wear?

So, it'll be a fairly small wedding. Too many back stabbers so I am left with a pocket of true gems I call my friends <3. I plan to wear a black dress to my wedding. Maybe England-esc Gothic style? I tried looking up ideas of what other woman do for their bridesmaids, and only found a bride with a black gown and no bridesmaids to be seen (at least in verity). So what colors would be appropriate?

Ooh that sounds dramatic and fun.

I think you could honestly go with whatever colour you wanted, but I think I would either go with a soft grey, or possibly white, just for the contrast.

I also couldn't find many pictures, but I did find these - most seem to have them with burgundy!

Burgundy, sage, gray or steel blue could look beautifully goth with your black gown.

Since your dress will be so dark, I would go with a softer color like a light pink/blush, sage, lilac, gray, etc.

If you're wedding is a Gothic vibe, I'd say a vampy burgundy would be beautiful against your black dress. That, or you could have them in a really pretty champagne, taupe, cream color scheme to make you stand out even more!

Hi Valarie! Black is a neutral, so honestly any color bridesmaid dresses will work!! With a November wedding date I'm also drawn to those dark and moody color palettes and think jewel tones would look really pretty. 🤩
