Bride Entrance Outdoors

Kelly, on November 26, 2019 at 8:09 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 1 10

Our wedding ceremony is outdoors at one our local parks, there are not too many areas where the groom will not be able to seem me before the ceremony starts aside from one path. We both do not want to do a first look prior to the ceremony, we want the ceremony start to be the first time we see each other. We were thinking about having temporary curtains up so that he will not see me. I was curious is anyone may have any other suggestions!

My friend's husband turned around after the last bridesmaid walked down the aisle then when the bride's song came on he turned back around to face her.

FH and I just attended a wedding that was outdoors and they had a really pretty arbor with doors / gate type thing where he couldn't see her. I think they had him look down until the moment the gates were about to open.

I was a coordinator for an outdoor wedding at a park and we brought the car and passed the ceremony covering the glass. We parked it close to the tree area she was walking out of and she stay inside the car until it was time. No one but the bridal party saw her.

I was at a wedding where they set up doors. The groom looked forward until the bride got behind the doors and then turned and looked. It was a beautiful moment when the doors opened.

I too am getting married outside with a very long windy path. I do not know what you do but I'm thinking of just wearing a beautiful cape and my attendants remove the bridal Cape when I get up to the actual aisle. I think my guests will be awed.

I saw some cool decoration ideas on pinterest where they had like a double door frame there and two ushers would open it for each set of bridal party. If that works for you and your decor that could be nice! other than that i think i saw someone say have the groom maybe face the officiant until you hit the last row and his BM could touch his shoulder when its time.

I would have your fiancé turn his back. The officiant or best person can help keep him turned until the right time.
