Bride Emergency Kit?

Kathleen, on May 28, 2019 at 9:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
Hi! I’m 24 days to saying I DO!
reading bride magazine I saw about this day of “kit”
where did you get yours?
If you recently got married did you even need it?

Usually the day of emergency “kit” would be a small bag with things for just in case. I would plan to pack hairpins, hairspray, ibuprofen or something like that, a tide pen, mini sewing kit (came in handy at my sister’s wedding when my brother in law split his pants open after the ceremony), maybe some stomach meds like pepto, bandaids for blisters, and any period products if that is around.

You can buy one from Amazon if you just search “emergency wedding kit,” or put one together yourself. Bobby pins, safety pins, tide to go pen, nail file, etc.

I see these all over the mall. I have not actually really looked at them. My venue coordinator recently told me she has an emergency drawer available the day of.

I didn't have one but I should have. Better safe than sorry. You can easily throw one together yourself. I'd suggest safety pins, feminine products, LOTS of band-aids, deodorant, breath mints, lotion, nail polish for touch ups, phone charger, etc.

I’m sure you can create one. I don’t plan on having one though.

I made one up for my friend's wedding. The only thing we used out of it was a hair tie for her mom but I am still glad I had it. It's an emergency kit right? So if you have to use it that means something went wrong Smiley smile The hopes is to not have to use it but having it if you need it.

As cute of an idea as it was and as helpful as it sounds, not ONE of the items in my homemade "kit" were used. We were way too busy having fun to worry! One of my bridesmaids used a bandaid. That was it lol.

I'd suggest safety pins, dental floss, spray on deodorant, breath mints, q tips, hair pins, and some kind of aleve/advil/ibuprofen.
