Bride & Bridal Party Cover Ups

So for a winter wedding (November) I have been going back and forth on what I will give to my bridal party to keep warm with as it may be a little chilly day of. This whole process I have gone with the idea of getting pashmina's (similar to the photos below) but I'm a little worried it wouldn't be warm enough! So I thought I would ask here! I have a few options for myself (Fur cover up/plaid for some photos)

What is everyone doing for cover ups for the day of? Any suggestions for a winter wedding?

I think fur would be warmer, and really cute for a winter wedding. I think there are places that rent out fur stoles for this purpose (one of my BMs is getting married in the winter and looking into it

I think cover ups would be a good idea for November. Unless you are doing rustic/woodsy themed I would steer clear of the plaid button ups. Fur would for sure be warmer, but unless as FMP mentioned and you can find somewhere to rent, that would be expensive. A wrap or pashmina I think would work. Depending on the material they could be decently warm.

Thanks ladies! I'm planning on fur and the plaid just for me and then something matching for the girls. I may look into fur for all or like you say a heavier pashmina to keep them warm!

Sounds like a great idea! I was a bridesmaid for a wedding in January in Canada (you do the math) and I wore a strapless knee length dress. Genius. I almost froze my ass off.... literally. Does not make for a happy bridal party.
