I normally breakout around that time of the month but lately I have been breaking out more often. My wedding is in April and I know it's because of all the stress and planning but what can I do? I normally breakout around that time of the month but lately I have been breaking out more often. My wedding is in April and I know it's because of all the stress and planning but what can I do? I have tried numerous different face washes and creams but nothing seems to be working. I don't want to look back at my wedding photos and see these awful blemishes.

What beauty regimens worked for you?

You said that you've tried multiple products. These products don't work quickly, it is essential that you stick with one to see the best results.

I use Michael Todd and LOVE it! I was having the same issue as you. I started having horrible breakouts 4-5 months before the wedding. It was weird for me because I never break out, I've never had issues, and I do my beauty routine religiously. I had confidence in my MUA artist, but thankfully, 3 days before the wedding, I woke up and my face was CLEAR! It was so clear and fresh. I don't know what happened, but I hope it works the same for you!

I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub with salicylic (sp?) acid. It helps my breakouts a lot!

Okay based on your last post I would try oil cleansing, charcoal, or anything from the First aide beauty line.

I love charcoal. I use it for everything. It whitens teeth, clears pores, and cures food poisoning/hangovers/toxins.

ETA: make sure it is activated charcoal, I got mine from amazon.

@FutureMrsWebb I used to use St Ives Apricot Scrub too and sometimes the green tea but I stopped because after a while my face would start getting itchy and sometimes I felt it too dry

I recently started using natural products, I found on pinterest a face mask and I have seen great results in the first 2 weeks.

sugar, lemon, tea tree oil, and coconut oil

    1/2 lemon juice

    1 tbsp coconut oil

    5 drops tea tree oil

    2 tbsp brown sugar

mix them well and apply to dry face as a mask

leave on for about 15-20 min

    wash off with warm water

the sugar also helps to exfoliate

I do it at night after I have washed off the makeup (usually with cottonballs and coconut oil)

My face feels as soft as a baby's butt after I wash it off and I have seen my acne as well as blackheads decrease dramatically

    Prescription and dermatologist are best.

I use an oil-based cleanser (Clinique take the day off) and Murad moisturizer. Pricey ($100 for the two) but they last forever. I don't get the squeaky-clean feeling I did with harsher cleansers, which stripped my skin of natual oils. But my skin is definitely clean and feels great!

I had the same problem. I never did find something to get rid of it all together on my face, but bought a good face power to cover it. The most non irritating stuff I could find. I also put vitamin E oil on my face first. Aloe seems to calm the breakout a bit as well. When I saw aloe, I mean the juice straight from the plant.

TMI- I had breakouts on my arms that were bleeding hives. I did things to calm the burning and itching, but couldn't get rid of it entirely. 2 things happened that got rid of them. My MOH finally sent me a text telling me she wasn't coming (claimed it was work) so the stress hives started to die down a lot once that whole mess was settled. I was really stressed out over the idea that it was more and more clear she wasn't going to do anything to obtain a dress - by that I mean not giving me measurements, or even deciding what she liked from pictures of things in my own closet. About 10 days before the wedding I went and bought long gloves to just cover the hives. I wanted them anyway, and as soon as the problem was solved, the hives started to go away. By the time I walked down the aisle, they were totally healed.

I need to stop talking about them because every time I do, or when I talk about my MOH, I can feel them coming on lol edit for typo
