Bridal Tea Etiquette

Sarah, on June 9, 2015 at 4:24 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

Couple of questions involving bridal teas.

1) Does the bride pick out the invitation that is being sent out?

2) Does the bride pay for the invitation and send them out herself?

3) Since my bridal tea is after labor day, is it approproate to still wear white (Hint:I live in the south)?

1- No, let your hostesses do that. They may ask you to approve it.

    2- Definitely not.

3- I live in the South too and I say screw that. I'm wearing white dresses to all my showers and I have 2 after Labor Day. Who cares?

4- Depends. I hosted a bridal tea a few months ago, there were 11 of us. 7 were bridesmaids and 4 were the MOB's friends. Mine will most likely just be my bridesmaids.

Lauren answered all the questions. Just a comment... you shouldn't ask someone to host. Hopefully, someone will offer.

My cousin/BM and aunt asked to host my shower.
