Bridal slip or no? And Hair styles?

Sabrina, on October 11, 2020 at 7:40 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17
Brides, how did you decide on whether or not you should wear a slip under your dress? Here is my dress. I love the extra poof when sitting and don't know if a slip would accomplish a similar look when standing?
I also need suggestions on a hair style to try for my trial run. I know I have a chubbier face and obviously want something flattering!

You look pretty the way you are. For hairstyle, I am thinking to cover my sides of face with some swept hair on both sides because of my heart shape face, in order to elongate the shape. As for the slips, you can try strapless shapewear, but it would be hot in summer.

You can order a slip from amazon and if you don’t like it return it.
That’s where I got mine. It was cheap but good quality (especially only to be worn once) and shipped fast. They had lots of different ones to choose from.

A petticoat will add poof. My flower girls had to wear petticoats because my mother-in-law made the dresses and she didn't use enough fabric. As for your hair, I would look for ideas on Pinterest then have a trial to make sure you like it.

Your dress is gorgeous & very flattering! I’m thinking the loose, sexy bun would be awesome & it’s out of your face!

I think a petticoat would give you the poof that you may want.
As for the hair those options above I think would all look great on you!

A petticoat or hoop skirt will give you the poof. I prefer a hoop skirt because petticoats can be really hot. With a hoop skirt you can adjust the hoops to get the exact size you want, even just a little.

Now is the hoop skirt difficult to sit in?

Not at all! You basically just lift the hoop that’s closest to your hand and sit. There’s lots of tutorials online. This is my dress before and after I adjusted the hoops. I had a petticoat on for my first fitting and I was sweating. Bridal slip or no? And Hair styles? 6
