Bridal shower

Kelley, on July 24, 2019 at 6:49 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4
My fiance and I are thinking about having a courthouse wedding and small dinner to follow with family and close friends. Everyone will not be invited to the wedding ceremony but welcome to come to the dinner following. Wanting advise on having a bridal shower prior to the wedding as we currently do not live together and thus do not have a lot of things one would usually get from a shower and registry.

You only have a shower if someone offers to throw one. If someone offers, the only people that can be invited are those you’re inviting to the dinner after your ceremony.

As PP said, I wouldn't worry about the shower unless someone wants to host it for you!

No you can have a opem
hose. But that is like asking someone for a birthday gift but not letting them go
    to your party.
