Bridal Shower

I’m kind of torn, I don’t know if I should have a bridal shower. I don’t have many friends or local family. My fiancé’s family is huge and really involved in each other’s lives (like 90 of our 130ish guests). The party would consist of mostly his aunts, cousins. I’d would have like 3 of my own people there. My future mother in law and MOH (my fiancé’s sister) are planning it. Should I have it or not? Thoughts?

Hey girl,
I think if your FMIL and MOH are planning it, you should be fine. I am sensing that your concern is that there won't be many people on your side that aren't going to be there to support you, and I totally understand that. I mean, it's really up to you if you want them to throw it for you. There will still be people there to support you, albeit on your FH's side. Maybe tell them your concerns and see what they say. Hopefully everything works out for you

Honestly I think its great that your future in-laws are so excited and supportive of your relationship that they want to throw you a shower. They're your family now too. My cousin's MIL and SIL left during her bridal shower and didn't even come to her baby shower. Embrace the love.
