This Saturday is my bridal shower tea party, and everything is feeling so real. We get married in 62 days!

My mom is hosting my shower at my church, but I have been helping her do all of the planning and such. I'm getting excited, and a little nervous. I'm not one for being the center of attention and this shower is going to be almost 100 people there for ME.
How did/do you all cope with social anxiety? I know it will be worse for the wedding, but I'll have FH at my side for that and he does an amazing job of taking the pressure off of me.

A bridal shower tea party sounds super fun. For your bridal shower I don’t really think there’s a way with getting out of that just because the point is to shower you with attention so maybe just keep things minimal like play games that don’t necessarily require their attention on you. Or open gifts quickly aha

This sounds like it will be so much fun. I love the theme!
Avoiding attention at your shower is going to difficult! As Melle mentioned, the point is to shower you with attention and gifts. Try to remember that everyone there loves you. Lean on your Mom for support. Perhaps incorporate some games that involve smaller groups as opposed to one big group with you at the center!
