Bridal shower registry info?

A friend of mine is planning a shower for me. There might also be a second shower that is in my FH's home state. Everyone knows we don't put registry info into wedding invites (printed or those little inserts), but what about for shower invites?

I really don't mind saying it word-of-mouth 20 times but if the shower hosts themselves include the info, is that wrong?

I do have registry info on my wedding website as well.

Your hostess can put registry info or inserts on/with the bridal shower invitations. That is completely socially acceptable.

You're good to put registry info on the shower invites!

I personally like just adding "For more details visit the couple's website here:..." and directing guests to your website if it has registry information. We left all of that off the shower invites and it wasn't an issue at all. Family members asked my mom where I was registered, and all of my friends knew to check our wedding website.

The host of our shower included a line on the invitations that said "Nicole & Tom are registered at ______." I think this is appropriate for bridal shower invitations. We also had the registry links on our wedding website.
