Bridal shower or no bridal shower

Don't host your own bridal shower.

But you don't need a wedding party, either. It's not essential.

It's too early to ask people to be in your bridal party.

Whether you have a bridal shower will depend if someone wants to host one for you. If no one does, then you don't get one. As for pros and cons, I mean you can get gifts and it's to celebrate the upcoming wedding. Cons, whoever plans it and those who are invited has to be invited to your wedding? (LOL).

I'm not having a bridal shower though I have a bridal party (which was forced on me by my sisters) but you could definitely do without. I feel like its just an added expense, especially when those same people are going to celebrate with you on your big day!

I thought this was going to be asking about a bridal party (not shower). I was excited to answer team no bridal party all the way!!!! Reduces so much stress for everyone.

But you're talking about a shower... You don't throw your own bridal shower, if someone else wants to do it for you, they will.

Someone in your family will throw you a bridal shower, you don't need to worry about the details of that.

I am team no bridal party or small bridal party! I am going to be having a BP of three. My maid of honor is FH's cousin, one of my friends since I was in 6th grade, & my sister.

If you don't want a bridal shower , let it be known that you don't want one. Maybe some friends could get together for lunch and donate to a favorite charity of yours instead? I am not a fan of showers.
