Is it just me or do the pre-wedding parties keep multiplying?! Smiley laugh How many bridal showers are been thrown in your honor? Is your office or future in-laws throwing you an extra shower? Are you celebrating with friends and family separately? Or are you sticking with one celebration?

How many bridal (or couples) showers are in your future? One or more?

Right now, there are 3 showers planned, but there may be another one (mom is deciding if she's going to throw another one for family)... so maybe 4! My FH will, also, be having a tool & gift card shower in his hometown with all his friends.

I had a bridal shower with my family and a bridal shower with my in-laws due to people's conflicting schedules but I'm not complaining! I felt like a total rock star lol

As far as I know, I'm not having one. Wedding is a little over 4 months away so I think it would have happened by now?

There has been discussion about one. I'm not a huge fan of being the center of attention so I hope that it remains one.

Not sure if anyone will plan one for me (highly doubtful) but if I were to have one, it would probably just be that. Only 1! LMAO

I didn’t have one... 3 of my 4 bridesmaids live out of town and my parents are the only family members I have that are not 4+ hours away. It would have been fun to have one, but not many people would have been able to reasonably attend and I didn’t want them to stress about it.

I don't think my job or anyone outside my bridal party will throw me an extra shower, it would be nice if they did but I wouldn't expect one.

I live in another state from family so I came home for a bridal shower then I had a shower at work and also the receptionist at work had a bridal brunch for me at her house with a few people outside of my dept. So three in total. I was okay with it.

    Just one! Whew!

Though my coworkers did get me a cake the week of the wedding, which was super sweet of them.

Ok so I'm really shocked to hear so many don't even want a shower. This will be my first bridal shower/bachelorette party and I've been married before. My bestie is throwing it and although I know she's doing it everything about it is a surprise so I'm excited about it, completely.

I wish you all a great celebration of life with your girls some kind of way!!!

    Stephanie

I think I will most likely end up with 2. We live in CT and have family in the northeast, but are getting married in FL where I am from. In order to keep costs down for those invited, we’ll do 2.

I'll probably have 2 - 1 with family and friends, 1 at work. My boss's wife said she'll throw me a surprise shower at work since my boss and her can't make my wedding.

One big family and friends shower (this weekend!) and a smaller outing with my work friends that they surprised me with!

I'm curious how others respond to this thread since we live in Germany, my family lives in the US, and my fiancé's family is in China. Many friends live in the UK as well, or stateside. So I'm not even sure how we'll manage... but I loved being a part of my SIL's shower and I soooo wish I could have a traditional one... Smiley sad
