preppy/ upper east side vibes - there’s a ton of places in Birmingham I like Toast or 220 Merrill is very nice and accommodating

Sajo's in Clinton Township, Tina's County House, Italian American Cultural Society, Mac Ray Harbor

Granite City Food & Brewery downtown might be a nice place. They have a room you can reserve with private bar, people can do meal selections, you can decorate and bring outside desserts. I just went to an engagement party there in May....this response may be too late lol
