Bridal Shower Invite Etiquette

My bridal shower is 4 weeks before our wedding. My MOH is asking me for invites because they need to go out ASAP (shower September 7th). I don’t have all my RSVPs back for wedding invites yet. Is it okay to just invite the females who are invited to the wedding, regardless of it they can come to the wedding or not? Just don’t want to break etiquette.

    Yes, invite them regardless. They may be able to make the shower but not the wedding.

    Yes, if they were invited to the wedding, and also are very close friends and family who likely want to buy you an additional gift ( in addition to the wedding gift). Invite them. Do not invite women you are not close to. Not friends wives and girlfriends if you are not close friends with them too. Not FI's or coworkers wives or dates, either ( unless also people you go out with and invite places .) Even if they are invited to the wedding, and accept.

    They just have to be invited, they don’t have to attend.

    Yes, I’m only inviting the women that I “invited”, none of his (his family that I know is all out of state and won’t make it).

    I would invite everyone! If someone can't make the wedding, they may still want to make the shower!
