Bridal Shower Invitation

Kashawn, on January 28, 2017 at 2:04 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

My bridal party and some of my family are throwing me a bridal shower. Due to them not being on one accord with the planning, they just finalized the details. My aunt emailed me a digital copy of the invitation and told me to send it out via email. Is it okay to email the bridal shower invited or should I make them mail them?

You shouldn't be sending out the invites. I'm team mailed invites, but if they want to email them they can, it's their party.

I agree that you shouldn't be sending out the invitations. But anyway, email is fine in my eyes. As long as you know everyone has an email address.. (just thinking about grandma!)

My sister emailed them. Especially if you're on a bit of a time crunch.

I prefer mail, but e-mailing the invites is fine.

I prefer mail, because I think people are more likely to forget an event if its an e-vite and I prefer the formality of a mailed invitation, but I don't think it matters. But its completely inappropriate for YOU to mail or send out the invitations in any way.

I think email is fine for a shower. However, the email should not come from you. Send the hosts the list of guest email addresses so they can do it.
