My shower is this weekend (WAT)!!! I almost forgot about hostess gifts! My FMIL and one MOH have organized everything, but my mom and other MOH have contributed financially. I planned to get them all a bottle of wine and a thank you card. Do I give this to them after the shower? Is this enough of a gift?

Also, I started writing out a thank you card last night for my MOH, who has already given us a gift, but can I wait to write one thank you note for her gift and for throwing the shower?

My shower is this weekend too! Have lots of fun! Also, I would say yes to all of your questions. If you're just waiting a few more days you can write one thank you note, though I will be including a note to the hostesses with the gift. I'm doing a bottle stopper, wine glass charms and little wine bottle sleeves so I think a bottle of wine is good.

For FH's aunts who threw my surprise shower I went out and bought a bottle of wine and an orchid. I just wrote one card for their gift and for hosting the shower. I think you're fine to do one note, and to stick to the bottle of wine.
