Bridal Shower Games

Ms. Boop, on December 23, 2010 at 11:08 AM Posted in Planning 0 15

Hey Ladies, I am asking for bridal shower game ideas for my friend who is getting married in March. She doesn't want anything boring. So far we have the one where the teams make a wedding dress from toilet paper. Help

I went to a shower where under each table there was bag with a roll of toilet papper, tape, ribbon and few fake flower. Each table nominated a girl to be the "bride of the table" and the table had to make a wedding gown out of the stuff in the bag ON the bride of the table. It was sooooooooo much fun! Everyone had a blast with it!

At my shower we did a "How well does the bride know the groom" game. My MOH asked my DH 20 questions and wrote down the answers. Then at my shower she asked me the questions to see how many I got right. For every wrong answer, I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth. I was doing really good, so halfway thru they started having me put a piece of gum for every right answer. I ended up with about 14 pieces of gum in my mouth! It was fun!

Oh and you can play the purse game. Before the shower, write down the items in the brides purse, then have all the guests see if they have the same items. The guest with the most items wins. This is really fun if the bride has a huge purse with lots of random stuff in it!

Oh and also you can play the cucumber game. It's like musical chairs except every one gets in a circle and while the music is playing you pass the cucumber Not with your hands, the cuc is held between your thighs and the next person has to grab the cuc with their legs, etc! Whoever has the cucumber when the music stops is out, till the last one is standing!

I played one where instead of making a toilet paper dress, guests had to draw what they think the bride's dress would look like. It was so much fun! I came up with what I thought would be the bride's style, and when I saw her professional pictures I was shocked at how off I was. I love the trivia games idea too... I hope my sister thinks of playing that one Smiley smile

Right Left Bridal Shower Game Story

(Bride's name) knew right away that she had found Mr. RIGHT and the RIGHT date was set. Now seemed to be the RIGHT time to start so she LEFT RIGHT after lunch and went RIGHT to her mother's house. She knew she needed to get started RIGHT away to make sure nothing was LEFT undone.

There was little time LEFT to spare and so much LEFT to do. She asked her mother to write down an address list and she LEFT to find the

RIGHT invitations. On her way, she LEFT a message at the florist and then RIGHT to the bridal shop she ran.

RIGHT in the window was the perfect dress. Oh no, I LEFT my checkbook RIGHT in the car. Hold that dress, I'll be RIGHT back. With that done, she called Mr. RIGHT and LEFT him a message to call her RIGHT back. She LEFT to meet the florist who had LEFT her a message that they had the RIGHT flowers for her.

Mr. RIGHT called her RIGHT back and said he LEFT a message for the preacher to call him RIGHT back and that he had just LEFT work and would be RIGHT over.

She LEFT the florist and ran RIGHT over to meet Mr RIGHT. RIGHT away they discussed what was LEFT to do. Who would be the RIGHT best man? She LEFT that up to Mr RIGHT. I'll get the RIGHT maid of Honor.

RIGHT away they started shopping for the RIGHT rings. With that done, the next stop was to order the RIGHT cake. Mr. RIGHT could clearly see his future, Mrs. RIGHT, was on the right track.

After a long day, all that was LEFT to do was get RIGHT home to see if any messages were LEFT while they were out. "Lets call it a day". "Whatever is LEFT to do, can be LEFT until tomorrow. With a kiss, he LEFT and she went RIGHT to bed.

I've seen a bridal bingo game out there.

But I went to a shower once where they gave you a sticker, and if you said a certain word (I can't remember what the word was) someone could steal your sticker. The lady with the most strickers at the end won a prize.

@Christine, that's really clever. At first I was curious as to where you were going with that.

@October, the jail question was a gag question? I'll have to remember that one Smiley winking

As far as bridal shower games go, I don't really remember any. I remember more baby showers than bridal showers. Keep the ideas coming!!!!
