Okay, we have settled on the game, "Ten Things About the Bride & Groom". The winner will be the person who guesses the most correct answers.

What do you think we should do for prizes for 1st and 2nd? My thought was a gift card at a local chain of stores that, literally, everyone at the shower shops at. I'm thinking $5 per gift card???

I would do more for the first prize than the second. Maybe make one for $10 and one for $5?

We went to Christmas Tree Shop and got so many cute things for 5-15 dollars and wrapped them all up. PEOPLE loved them. One thing we got that was a hit was the turbie twist?? I had never used one or had one and people were FIGHTING over them. I think they were 4 dollars. Sometimes its more fun to open a gift.

Thank you, ladies. I like the idea of a $10 and a $5 gift card.
We just did not want to do giftie things as not everyone has the same taste. I mean, if I received something to plant at my home, it would be worthless as I do not garden. If I received a trinket, it may end up being given away or tossed. But I figured that a gift card could be used by everyone.
We have a chain here called Fred Meyer.....the guest will be from Oregon and Washington and Fred Meyer is in both states. So anyone who "wins" can use the card easily.

Love your idea. You may also want to check out some online places that offer discounted restaurant gift cards. So you could get them a $25 one for say $10.

Christine, that would be a great suggestion, other than the fact that there are two really distinct groups attending the shower. Truly, this entire wedding is going to be two distinct groups. LOL! Oy! Oy!
Best for me to stick with the local chain store idea...Fred Meyer, for those of you in the areas where Fred Meyer exists. At least everyone needs to buy groceries, plants, clothing, etc. ;-)
But I do love your suggestion.
