Bridal shower evite

MrsMelissaP, on September 11, 2016 at 9:05 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

So my mom booked a place for my bridal shower and they are requiring the final head count by October 8. A month before my shower. She planned to order invites this coming week but by the time she gets them, and then mails them out, it will only give guests 2 weeks to RSVP. IMO that's not enough time. Can she send a shower evite instead?

I don't see why not. I would if she's already booked the place

Definitely. I've gotten bridal shower evites before and it has been fine. Why are you concerned?

@angel- yeah, she booked the place.

@ATLbride- Not concerned but just wasn't sure about etiquette. I've received Bach party evites but wasn't sure about a shower evite.

Why don't you think 2 weeks is enough time? I think that's fine tbh. But evites are fine too!

Thanks CMC. The invites she wants to order are through zazzle so I'll have her check on the shipping.

I have been E-Vited to a bridal shower before. Your mom can also call the guest and invite orally to let them know to expect it, ask for an email, and send the invite.
