I didn't wear white to my shower. Hell, I didn't wear white to my own wedding. Curiously, I did wear white to my rehearsal. I don't think there's any real tradition to wearing white to a shower

Factoid: the white dress for a bride originated as a sign of wealth because only royalty could afford a dress in a color that would never be worn again. It was adopted as a fashion statement afterward. Prior to Queen Victoria, brides wore a color they already owned.

This is mine for August

I wore a blue and white sundress of mine, because it's cute and my MOH said blue to match the theme.
