Bridal Shower Dress Code...Wording?

I know we usually advise against this for weddings, but for a shower, I actually think it's a cute idea. I would comply if asked.

Let me mull over some wording ideas.

I know all the girls invited would totally be up for it...they all love a good photo as much as i do...i just cant seem to think of any wording that would sound fun and not kinda rude-ish.

I can't really think of anything but i think it'd be cute to include looking like a doll in some way....

like

"look like a doll in your black, white, or pink...

How about rewording something like this:

"The theme of Jennifer's Briday shower is . Pink, Black and White clothing is more than welcome (and encouraged!) for the party but not required"

You could also do it in a different way and say that:

"The theme is going to be Barbie and remember that Barbie's favorite colors are Pink, White and Black - for the pictures lets show off our Barbie style"

Who knows maybe you will get that Barbie beauty queen at your party - I have a friend who was Barbie every year for halloween and did the pink prom dress with sparkles and a tiara.

Make it fun but remember its ok to suggest a dress code not make it a requirement.
