Here is the dress I'm wearing for my BS and RD. I found it on the clearance rack at DB's. The dress had some damage in the hem and lace, but that can all be fixed. My seamstress will also take some of the tulle out to give it length.

I rarely shop at New York and Company, but I was there with my mom and found an amazing white lace sheath dress- gorgeous and so comfortable. It was their line by Eva Mendes. This isn't the exact one but similar (the one I found was longer):

Not sure which event I will wear it to, but I know I will wear the crap out of it!

Love it! I've got to show this to my FDIL. She doesn't want the big white dress and a train, and they're planning a small restaurant reception. It's perfect. Love it, love it, love it.

I got the dress for my shower at Ross. My shower was 50s housewife themed so I saw it and just couldn't resist. I didn't wear a dress to my RD. I wanted to keep things casual so I wore my favorite jeans and a white tank top with BRIDE in rhinestones. It wasn't something that would normally be my style but I figured this was one time I could wear something obnoxiously bride-y and not have it be strange. With the wedding the next day I didn't want people to feel like they had to dress up two days in a row. I don't have a great pic of my shower dress but it looked a lot like the black and white polka dot I Love Lucy dress.

I got my shower dress at Dress Barn and my rehearsal dress from Nordstrom Rack. I actually got a second dress from NR, too, that I might wear for the rehearsal instead of pulling double duty on my bachelorette party dress. For all 3 dresses, I paid $45 total since they were all on clearance.

I do not wear dresses very often so I don't like to spend a lot. The last few dresses I bought I got at rue 21. Cheap and effective.
