Bridal shower and bachelorette party

Princess I, on November 5, 2016 at 1:24 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Who plans them? And do you only invite people who are invited to the wedding? Can you invite people who are not invited to the wedding?

(People who are not invited to the wedding because the wedding will be small and intimate. )

Generally your bridal party plans them. However, close friends may also plan. YOU do no plan them for yourself. Only invite those who are invited to the wedding.

Your bridal party or someone from your family can plan those parties for you.

It would be really rude to invite someone not invited to the wedding.

How come all the wedding planning apps have "plan bridal shower" on the checklist? It's so confusing.

My Bridal party is planning both. I wouldn't invite anyone who is not invited to the wedding.

The checklist is an outline of things that should/need to be done at/by a certain point. It's not always things that you personally need to do.

I didn't invite anyone that wasn't invited to the wedding. My bridal party also planned this for me.

My bridal party is planning the bachelorette party and my mom and MOH are planning the wedding shower. I am somewhat involved in planning the wedding shower but not at all for the bachelorette party.

Anyone who offers, but usually the bridesmaids. And yes, only guests invited to the wedding can be invited to wedding-related events.
