Are you guys having words with your ceremony music or just the music?

I had words! When guests came I had different songs in the background playing. For professional it was instrumental. For my brides walk and recessional I had songs with words

For the prelude & majority of the processional we will have instrumental songs (no words). Then, the song I walk down the isle to will have words.

Are you all using live music or CDs? Just wondering because I'm having a dilemma with whether to use live music or CD tracks for my ceremony. Thanks!

Processional and unity candle are instrumental.
The original version of the processional is too powerful to have the lyrics.

Recessional will have lyrics.I think we're having a few recessional songs and may repeat the unity candle song with words.

Our ceremony is at the same place as reception. There is a chapel attached to venue. We are having a DJ and he is providing the music during the ceremony.

Mandi, what are you using for during lighting of unity candle? I’m not finding anything I like.

    We used instrumental songs.

The fun thing about weddings, though, is that you get to choose. If your favorite song for a processional involves words, work with your DJ to see if you can time it just right.

Instrumental only - but not by choice. Unfortunately, the ceremony venue we chose does not allow amplified music. However, I'm actually starting to like the idea of having music with no words, seems a bit more romantic.

We're having just the instrumental for the walk song. I'm debating if we will be using the same song for the party to walk down and my song or if my song will be different and transitioned from the party's song.
