Bridal Portraits

My photographer does them the day of the wedding! That way I’ll have my real bouquet and it will be the only day I wear my dress. I’m not sure if this works with your timeline, but I’m both stressed and excited for this timing!

I am doing mine this Sunday. And I scheduled my hair & make up trials for the same day, so I can get it all taken care of at once. I am also purchasing a duplicate bridal bouquet, so everything should be exactly as is on the actual day. My wedding is June 29th, so about 6 weeks before my wedding.

Are you hoping to display one of your bridal portraits at your reception? If so, you should check with your photographer when their turn around time would be for the shoot. You want to select a timeframe that works with the photographer, and when your seamstress feels the final alterations on your wedding dress will be completed.

Danielle’s idea of scheduling your hair and makeup trial for the same day is a great idea!

If you are not planning on displaying one of your portraits, that frees up a bit more time to schedule your shoot.

I’m a huge aviation geek and also flight attendant...this is my dream photo shoot. Honestly anything with an airplane. Our wedding is next June so lots of time to find this opportunity and make it happen. I will probably wear a different dress so my wedding dress does not get dirty, airplanes tend to be greasy.
