Bridal Portraits tomorrow! Do I wear both rings??

Mrs. Pugh, on October 1, 2011 at 4:08 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

Hey ladies, I'm hoping ya'll can help me out on this one. My bridal portraits are tomorrow afternoon and I'm not sure if I wear just my engagement ring or my bridal set. I'll technically be married two weeks from today, and I just can't decide what I should do. If you had/want your portraits made before your wedding, what did you/will you do?

I don't think it matters too much, but if you're not sure, you can probably do a couple shots with, then without. That way you can still decide later which ones you want.

Unless it's a close up of your hands, it honestly doesn't matter.

Thank you Peony. That's a good idea. And yeah, I guess in most of the shots you won't be able to tell any difference.

Although you wont tell TOO MUCH.. isn't the point of your bridal portraits to be as if you would be on your wedding day? I say both, and for the photos that you will be able to tell, at least you'll have them on, and if you can't see them oh well but better to have and not need than need and not have Smiley winking

Well said, Olivia! That's what I thought, the point is to be as if it were my wedding day, but once I brought it up, everyone acted confused. I'll know what pictures are from what day, but what I need to think about is when I look back at these photos years from now, what will I want to see? I keep going back and forth, but I may end up wearing both.

ORRR just TAKE your band and decide when you get there lol That way you at least have it... like I said, if you take it, it doesn't mean you have to wear it...

I agree with Olivia. I'd at least take it...your photographer will know best.
