Bridal party seated during ceremony?

Sierra, on October 31, 2024 at 3:21 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 1

I've been debating on having my bridal party seated during our ceremony. It feels a little awkward for everyone to stand there and not be able to really see. But, I need ideas on how to get my bouquet back from my MOH and for the bridal party to do their recessional if they aren't at the front. Thanks!!

Your MOH could stand up to hand you your bouquet when the time comes, and the wedding party could still do the recessional: all they'd need to do is step into the aisle from the front row and walk back down the aisle. When they walk down the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony, the first person would take the seat in the front row that's furthest from the aisle, and each person after that would sit in the next seat in, until you have your MOH in the seat right next to the aisle. That way, she's closest to you to fix your train and receive/give back your bouquet. And when doing the recessional, the wedding party would walk out in the opposite order that they walked in.
