  When I’ve been in weddings it was just the bridal party. We had the guys sleep in and then meet up to hang out until the ceremony.

  One of my bridesmaids brought her plus one in to do her hair and makeup for her. We had plenty of food and space so it was no big deal but I do wish she had let me know in advance.

  I think you just keep it to your bridal party. The plus one should be able to find something to do while you all are getting ready!
