Bridal party hairstyles

Oh I love your hairstyle!! Maybe they could do up, but without a braid? Or just do all down? I can’t find any good examples online sadly.

I get where they're coming from. My hair doesn't hold curls for long and I told the bride that but she insisted she wanted everyone with their hair down and curled. My hair was done first and the DOC (brides aunt) screamed at me because my curls fell out....just like I said they would lol. It's so nice that you're taking their feedback and concerns into account!

I think having it up will be fine, and it won't take away or steal the spotlight from your hair style at all! They can just do it up without a braid or embellishments. Simple! The style you showed is super cute!

I agree with SHY that a simpler version of yours (no braid or clip) would be fine. Alternatively, you could have them in a simpler updo like a low or high bun without all the curly pieces.

Another option would be a pony-tail updo. This would still rely on their hair being curled, but if they fall out it will probably still look better than hair that's down losing its curl.

I'm glad I re-read your post because originally I thought you had told the bridesmaids that their hair wouldn't hold curls and I was peeved for them! Its really good you are taking into account their feedback - everyone's hair is different. I can curl my hair no problem using a curling wand and tousle mousse, and my one hair stylist can get my hair to curl using whatever products she uses and a flat iron, but every other stylist or friend who has ever touched my hair cannot get it to consistently hold a curl so sometimes its the touch, sometimes its the product, and sometimes its the hair. Some hairs just don't curl or don't straighten.

I agree that a less elaborate version of your updo would work. I think as long as their do's don't have braids or really structured pieces they won't upstage your hair at all. Why not just give them some really broad guidelines (textured, not sleek) and ask them to send you their own inspo. Are you trying to get them all to have the same hairstyle? I personally feel like bridesmaids could all have different hairstyles and it would look fine.

What ive decided to do was have all my bridesmaids in a half up half down that can be done for strait or curly hair and allowing them to chose curly or strait based on what will hold and look best for them after the knot or braid this style can be curld but doesnt have to be maybe you can stick to your original style but just alter it so that the have the same kind of design but still accomadate thier differnt hair types...
