Bridal party entrance... cocktail hour or reception?

Ok so we are doing a first look with all pictures done before the ceremony as well.... we are wondering if we should do the bridal party entrance into cocktail hour or once cocktail hour is done & everyone is sitting we should do an entrance then???? Both seem a little odd to us so we just are unsure on what is the normal way to do this in that situation.... what have other brides done?

Cocktail hour = wait while the bridal party take pics... If you're not taking pics forgo the cocktail hour.

For my FH's sister's wedding, they had the cocktail hour for guests while the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and bride and groom took pictures and then were in the back room enjoying a cocktail and appetizers before they were announced. It was a good way to thank them personally for all that the they had done for the happy couple and to (slightly) recharge. I thought that was a great idea (but that's me haha).

Into the reception enjoy your cocktail hour. When everyone goes to sit for the dinner, have your wedding party and you all stay back and then have your DJ or whoever announce you for your entrance

We are doing picture before also. We wanted to be able to enjoy ourselves at the cocktail hour too! So we are not having a grand entrance. After the ceremony, we will go upstairs (there is a little loft) and sign the papers, then just go right back and hang out with everyone.

We will be arriving about halfway through the cocktail hour, and I was hoping to do a quick entrance as we walk in. Have to run this by dj and venue first though.
