I don't think it would, but I would have the best man match her.

I can't see that it would be weird but considering that's not a part of your color scheme why would you go with mauve? At the end of the day her wearing a different color is completely fine as well and it's a dress that's very lovely. Maybe she could wear a Navy dress? Also, a friend of mine that got married two years ago did rose gold with all of her bridal party but for her two maids of honor, they both wore more sequin type sparkly rose gold where the other ladies wore a more toned down version of rose gold. That way they all wore the same color what kind of different variation of it if that makes sense.

I think it looks fine! There are other ways of making your MOH stand out too! Different flowers making her dress sparkly or add a belt but with the same colors and everyone else. My sister hated this idea when I brought it up because she didn’t want to stand out in any way from the other girls. I would come up with some options and see what your moh is comfortable with also.

I think it could look great, but there's always a small chance the shades of burgundy and mauve don't coordinate quite the way you wanted them to - so I'd spend extra time selecting the best shade of mauve! Having your MOH in a navy dress would be another easy way to make her stand out, or you could add a sparkly belt or give her a bigger/different bouquet like Kristen and Megan suggested!

I ordered my dresses from Birdy grey! My sister is the MOH and is wearing that mauve shade and the rest of the girls are wearing blush! I wanted my sister to feel special!
