Bridal party attire

I just wanted mine to get theirs by the time it was the wedding aha

Our wedding is may 9 2020 and we are all going shopping for attire the first weekend in January 2020. So everyone has time for alterations etc..

The turnaround time on our dresses was about 4 weeks, so they needed to be ordered 4 weeks before the wedding. Otherwise, I couldn't care less when they placed their orders.

My girls ordered their dresses sept 1 and had them by oct 1. One girl actually reordered another size and it still came in only a few weeks so there’s been plenty of time.

Our girls ordered their dresses 2-3 months before our wedding. That gave them time to get their dresses in and have them altered.

I just told them to have them by the wedding day and never followed up with them. Some girls ordered their dress 6 months before and some ordered theirs 1 month before.

I went yesterday to look at bridesmaids dresses and some were available in a week and some 10-12 weeks so it just depends on the place/dress your getting. I think the ones my girls chose were like 4 weeks? My wedding in May 9 2020 and my wedding planner said I should do all that by oct which I thought was crazy. The guys are all just renting suits so one day in the next month or so (maybe a little longer) were gunna go down with everyone and get the suits ordered (reserved?) but again my wedding planner said I was behind for not doing all this already?

As soon as we picked stuff out we asked them to order so there wouldn't be any worries before the holidays. We are getting married end of January. Of course the groomsmen all haven't ordered, and now we have to wait for a restock, but we will still have plenty of time to get them.

It all depends on where they order them from. My bridesmaids all ordered their dresses by 3 months prior. The groomsmen reserved their suits by 1 month out. We gave them about 10 months heads up though.

They had to have it by the day of the wedding, there were no other arbitrary deadlines because they are adults.
