Bridal makeup and hair (with trial) costs?

I paid 35 for my hair trial and 55 for my makeup trial. I'm in central CA.

I was just quoted $225 for just a MUA, which includes one trial. Her work is gorgeous, but I think it's too pricey since it doesn't include hair.

95 for make up, 35 for hair for a one time trial in Ohio.

Wow. 225!!!! My makeup trial is 65 and hair is 75 most trials I've seen are 50-150 in GA

I put the money I would have paid for a MUA toward actual makeup and just did it myself. I do a lot of theater, so I was able to do a pretty good job. I really wanted to look like myself and not a glam doll. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, just not for me. I spent about 200 on new makeup and probably about 120 for a hair trial and the day of. I got my trial done for my bridal shower, so it worked out well. It was around 60 each time she did my hair. The lady who did it was my usual stylist anyway, so that was nice.

I live in Seattle. Everything is inflated here, but even I was surprised by the price. She told me it could include curling hair, or a "light" style, but that's not what I want. I think it's ridiculous that I would have to pay for that much AND pay for a separate hairstylist.

Neither from salons. Both are freelance and they were best I found

I've had 2 makeup trials. One was $90 and one was $60. Haven't had my hair trial but it is $90. I'd say if you are getting 3 of each that is a good deal.

My trial is 120. Day of is 160. Why would someone need 3 trials? When I went somewhere else for my engagement hair and makeup it was 85 for hair and 65 for makeup, which I thought was too much....But I looked good! I live in honolulu hawaii

275 for hair and make up. Trial not included.

$350 for hair and makeup, trial included in Los Angeles, CA.

I'm paying like 150 ish for the trial.
