Bridal jewelry-should it match your ring?

I am having trouble with what jewelry to wear. My colors are dusty rose/gold/nudes, so thought it would be pretty to play that up with my jewelry. I will be wearing my great grandmother's brooch in my hair that is an antique gold. A couple of my bridesmaids say that the jewelry should match my ring...which is white gold. What do you ladies think?

My jewelry matches the dress. That brooch is beautiful. Rings are generally neutral in style, so I wouldn't worry about it in the least.
