I love real flowers so all of my flowers were real, but it a personal decision. Some fake flowers can be just as expensive as real flowers if you want ones that look real.

I love real flowers as well and that's what I was originally going with, but we're eloping a few states away and I'm wondering if fake flowers would just be easier as I can get them beforehand and pack them up to bring with me. Or if I'd rather find a florist there and go get a real bouquet. As long as they photograph nice I guess I'd be ok with either or at this point. 🤷

I did fake so I could use it for my bridal pictures and could also keep it after the wedding.

I would suggest real honestly, I'm having a small wedding but i wanted to have a nice bouquet for pictures. You can always look for florist where you are eloping and message them on a price for your bouquet. Send pictures to help them see what you want and just pick it up when you arrive to the destination. Travelling with a fake may damage it or ruin it because things can happen and you wont have to lug it around.,

I second this—fake flowers typically don’t photograph super well, as the lighting that’ll make you look your best will also likely bring out the shine in the fabric, making them look artificial. I would find a florist at your destination to work with instead.

Im using real flowers I love the way they look and photograph. Im debating on having fake flowers for my throwing bouquet so the person can keep it.

I completely understand people have different preferences/make different choices, but I am hands down on team REAL FLOWERS. But, if someone has to go with artificial, I think it's so much better to go with fake flowers that are as close to real as possible. Fake flowers in colors they do not come in naturally are definitely not a favorite of mine.

I'm going with Fake flowers. They have some that look just as real.
However, it's all preference. If you want real or fake, I feel either wouldn't make your day less beautiful.

We are currently exploring artificial flowers for centerpieces and using real for the rest. We recently went to a wedding were the centerpieces were real and the bridesmaids carried artificial kissing balls and the brides bouquet was an artificial arrangement; while it was all beautiful the fake flowers were obviously fake, even from a distance which is not my preference or how I want my wedding to look.

We’ll probably end up with all real.

    To each their own.

I'm torn about this. Quotes we're getting from florists are much more $ than I anticipated. I am seeing some very realistic artificial flowers so I'm not sure what we'll do.

I've seen really pretty artificial bouquets on Etsy, but those were pricey as well. I'm not sure what I'll do yet either but I have some time to decide. Thankfully I only need one bouquet and boutenierre.

We’re doing wood flowers from Southern Blooms! If you join their Facebook group they have some awesome sales. For my bouquet, two bridesmaids bouquets, all the corsages and boutonnières it was less than $250.

I'm team real flowers!! All of our flowers will be real except the centerpieces to save money. Real flowers for me & the bridal party was a necessity for me, though!

I personally always vote for real flowers! But that's just my preference. You can get some very pretty fake bouquets on Etsy too! This is my bouquet. I had my flowers preserved too and they're in a shadowbox now. Wood flowers or silk flowers are great alternative options too.

I am realizing fake can be expensive as real if you want it to look realistic lol. Depends on finances, if I want to try and make money back I would do fake and re-sell. Of course, if money wasn’t an issue, real beats fake in my opinion.

Real! Beautiful and a lovely “live” energy them. I’d go for faux for your BMs, or a single live stem. But for the bride’s bouquet? Real all the way.

Yes I agree with Carnysha, it wont make your day any less special. I'm doing fake flowers because I want to keep them afterwards.
