Bridal expo

It's whoever you want to be there. You can invite your mom, sister, any friend. Just don't be upset if they cant come and don't invite anyone who isn't coming to the wedding!

I've gone to bridal expos with friends and once with just my fiance. They're not that much fun if you're not actively wedding planning. Also, vendors tend to be fairly aggressive so they're not for the faint of heart. You can ask who wants to go but know it's not as interesting for some people.

For wedding dress shopping, I like to keep it smaller. I just went with my mom and sister who are plenty opinionated enough and enjoyed it.

My first expo I wenty with my mom. My FH actually said he would've went too but I didn't think he was interested. There's a big one for Detroit coming next month so I'll be going with him. For my dress fitting probably just my mom and tween daughter. I suggest keeping that to a minimum.

I went to one expo with my mom, aunt & FH. I had 2 dress appointments. My mother & aunt came to the 1st appt. FSIL & FMIL came with me to the second appointment. My fittings will be with just my mom & aunt.

My mom could not have cared less about going to the bridal expos. My MOHs came with me. And then my brother's fiance came because they got engaged the weekend before we were scheduled to go.

I live in a pretty busy area, so all of the expos I've gone to have been very crowded. Based off of my experience, I'd say it's easier to not invite a ton of people to join. I'm very lucky that some of my bridesmaids are married, and some are engaged, so bringing them to expos has been either very helpful- because recently married friends will suggest what's not worth my time, and my engaged friends find it beneficial even if they're not actively planning. Ultimately up to you though!

For my dress shopping I’m taking my mom and 2 of my aunts. All three of them have solid opinions on things like this but will not be too opinionated. Plus they will encourage me to step outside the box if I get stuck in a dress rut

I went to one with my mom and another with my MOH. Neither was very interesting, but I did get my dessert vendor from the first one!

For most things wedding related I will be bringing my FH and FSIL. My FSIL offered to help plan the wedding and since I have no idea what I'm doing I will be taking her up on that. For the dress shopping it will be my Grandma, my niece and my FSIL. My niece and FSIL will be in the wedding and I will need opinions other than my grandma's cause we will likely get into an argument because, even though I love her a lot, we are both stubborn and opinionated and frankly have very different views

I went to a really large expo and brought my MOH and we have the same friend group with 3 of us all got engaged at once so we made a group thing with them and their MOHs. It was a blast.
