    We're doing Eva Cassidy's "Songbird"

You could also do Pachabel's Canon in D - that's a pretty standard processional and it's pretty.

    Pachalbel's Canon is absolutely gorgeous.

Disney has a TON of instrumentals that are very lovey-dovey, perfect for a valentine's wedding.

Check out Vitamin String Quartet. They do instrumental versions of pop songs. That way you can pick a song you love Smiley smile

Do you mean down the aisle or into your reception? Down the aisle I went with traditional classical music. Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for bridal party and Wagner's Bridal March for my entrance. For the reception, we did T.I.'s Bring Em Out for the bridal party and Crazy in Love by Beyonce for us because we wanted to set the tone for a party!

I wouldn't worry about it being Valentine's day - go with something that matches your feeling, or if you want something less traditional, consider Vitamin String Quartet, which does classical arrangements of 80's alternative music (Smiths, Depeche Mode) and modern songs. Very beautiful and it's doubtful your guests will realize what they're hearing!

We each choose songs that have some personal connection to who we are. My FH is from AZ and he found a CD of this very talented harpist/guitarist that he actually met as a teen in AZ. She does some beautiful compositions and no one will have ever heard of them before! For my processional, I'm a big movie buff so it made sense to choose an instrumental song from one of my favorite movies - The Princess Bride (Storybook Love, the theme song). It's a lot more subtle than his song, but the change of tone should make it obvious that I'm headed their way!

Make it something that speaks to you!

Bridal party is "Glasgow Love Theme" from Love Actually, and I'm walking down to the main theme from The Notebook. I kind of love chick flicks. :-)

@CAJ, we did songs off the Princess Bride soundtrack, specifically Storybook Love, for our Ceremony Prelude music. We are also huge movie fans and it's so beautiful.

@OP, pick a song that has a connection or special meaning to you or FH. For mine, I picked For the Love of a Princess off of the Braveheart soundtrack because that song was playing the first time we kissed.

I think I have made a decision on Fall Into me by Brantley Gilbert...to be sung by the lead singer of our band.
