Bridal Bouquet

Samantha, on November 6, 2019 at 9:12 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 11
Hello everyone!
My wedding is in September 2020, and my colors are navy and burgundy. I really want a cascading bouquet, but I can’t find one I really like with these colors. I wouldn’t mind having white accents and greenery. I was wondering if anyone had any that stuck out to them?
Thanks in advance!

I would recommend searching for just a normal round bouquet in those colors and then show your florist and let them know you want a cascading one, they will be able to do it that way!

Pinterest will have some great options! You can definitely do burgundy flowers (dahlias and roses would be great), but don't go in expecting navy flowers unless they're dyed by your florist. Your bouquet will probably have to be white with greenery and pops of burgundy, and maybe consider using blush or peach as an accent color as well.

I would suggest finding a photo of one you like and then customize it to make it unique and perfect for you!

For example, this photo is of a bouquet that I like, but I knew it needed more for me.

I'm switching the roses and other flowers for white oriental lilies because I'm not a rose person.

    Other things I'm adding:

    -More pinecones

    -Evergreen branches

    -More eucalyptus leaves

Don't be afraid to create your bouquet from scratch! Most florists will draw up a sketch of what you want and some will ever create it for you in a digital studio so you can see it with colors and everything.

Maybe a burgundy-focused bouquet with a few navy-center anemones for accents? I personally love anemones so I'm a bit biased.. unfortunately a quick Google search says that they're only in season October - May.

There are some pretty realistic reproductions, though, and perhaps you could just add a few in with your real flowers without anyone noticing Smiley smile

Do they have to be real? I got mine from budget bride. I have the same colors actually.

If you're still browsing, we decided on silk flowers. Check out Budget Bride, they have a bunch of burgundy cascading bouquets!

I agree with the other post fined something you like and have them make it cascading. You can use blue thistle if you want real blue flowers/accents.
