Hello! I am currently planning my honeymoon with my FH & we are intrigued by Breathless resorts, specifically the Cancun location. We are very torn because we do not want an atmosphere that is so party it is just a bunch of college kids throwing up, but do like a lively atmosphere, a fun crowd, and a lot going on. We have never been to a Breathless and have no idea what to expect. There is a fine line between super fun and "party" and just too much. Anyone have any personal experiences? Thanks in advance!

I’ve gone - not for a honeymoon but for our anniversary. It is a party; no one was throwing up but there’s lot of drinking and loud music. There are a few pools; 2 open to the public. One is the party pool (tops optional) and the other is more chill. It wasn’t too crazy but idk if I’d want to honeymoon there. But that also depends on the time of year...maybe if you avoid school breaks/summer you’ll have a smaller chance of experiencing the college kids going crazy? I went in the summer.

I went to that resort in January. I would recommend booking a room in the Xhale club, which is significantly quieter. You’d then have access to all three pools so you can pick the party pool for a day or stay in the Xhale pool if you want something more relaxed. Swim out suites are 100% worth the upgrade! They have a honeymoon package too, so definitely look into that. Restaurants were great! Happy to answer any more questions, I loved the resort and can’t wait to go back!
