So what did you end up doing? I am getting married next year and I'm having the same issue and invites are already made. My ceremony is at 4:30 and I put cocktail at 6p. Because my ceremony and reception are in the same place I am trying to give the vendors enough time to flip the room.
I guess I will add a half hour extra to cocktail for the few who will be there for ceremony. I feel like non-family usually just comes for cocktail hour/reception
