Bras

Sabrina, on June 21, 2019 at 4:26 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 15
What kind of bra should I look into getting? I have a low cut back on my dress and going without a bra is not an option... I have a huge chest and not sure if sticky bras would be the way to go...thanks in advance

Most seamstresses will sew in cups to the dress.

I just ended up sewing cups in my dress because I couldn't get any undergarment to work with my low cut back.

Was it expensive to get cups added?

I have a shapewear and my seamstress altered it to fit my dress when she did my dress alterations.

My seamstress actually sewed a bra into my dress because the lace on the back of my dress is see through. It worked great, of course im only a C cup, so not sure how it would do for a larger bust.

Mine was included in the cost of alterations so I don’t know specifically how much just the cups were but I don’t think they were expensive!

I think I paid about $30 for cups from DB. I didn’t think they gave enough support though so I decided to wear a strapless bra. They were able to add these boning clips that tuck the back of my bra down so you don’t see it. If your back is super low though maybe try that wrap around elastic strap?

Having cups sewn in your dress is absolutely the way to go and it’s not that expensive.....less than you would pay for good undergarments.

I have a large chest and just FYI the stick on bras that are backless are totally useless. Do not waist your money. All the ladies are right, have cups sewn into your dress and you should be just fine

A proper seamstress will see cups into the dress and make it work

Try a brassy bra. They really work even if you have a huge chest

I opted to not have the cups sewn in because I have a large chest and the cups added more padding to the dress and made my chest look even larger. I opted for sticky boobs (tried out a couple different kinds) and they are very comfortable and hold me up just fine.

When I tried my dress on it didn't have cups in it but when it came in from Italy it did... so maybe yours will have cups in it already. My bestfriend for her wedding brought a bra and the seamstress deconstructed it to put it into the dress for her.
