Bra for a backless dress?

Erica, on May 8, 2017 at 12:24 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

So I know I can't wear a bra with my dress because it's sheer through the entire back. However I know some type of petals are going to needed (I'm a 36dd) now I'm wondering if any other ladies have found the answer to this?!? What worked best for you?

Get cups placed in it. Did you talk with the dress shop when you tried on? That should be answered by the consultant that helped you in the first place. Also if the dress has a corseted back that will help you get locked in.

I got this one. My seamtress recomemded not sewing the cups on my dress, but this works for me. I dont have to much on top, so im not sure how it works for c-d size cups.

My dress is backless so no bra for me either. However, I am going to have the seamstress sew cups into the dress to give me some support if needed.

See if your seamstress could sew cups in your dress. That's what I'm doing.

You either need cups sewn in or a stick in bra, petals are just nipple covers

The cutlets are great as long as you aren't going to be sweating. Only mentioning this because your date is in summer.

Mine isn't backless but the back is a little low and I didn't want the bra to show so I got a backless bra that has little sticky wings that makes it stick to your sides from Davids Bridal. It feels more secure to me than cups.

Don't do the 'sticky bra!' This is your wedding, not a night at the club! Talk you your seamstress about what they can do, most likely sewing cups in.

Sew cups in- If fitted correctly they should hold your girls up just like a bra would!

If you're sweaty like me the sticky bra is a nightmare.

For backless, forget sewn-in cups, boob tape or stick-on-bras... They look fine for about 3 minutes provided you don't move (or sweat), but will not support you or give you lift. And btw, tape is a nightmare to take off (not to mention having all those adhesive chemicals leeching into your boobs!)
