I think navy looks great with gray! If you’re not sold on it, do you have any other wedding colors?

I think gray and blue look great today, I was at men's wearhouse yesterday and they said this is a popular color combo right now.

Gray is a nice neutral so a lot of things match the suit— the question is, do they match the wedding? What color are the bridesmaids wearing, what colors are the flowers, and table settings etc. Does the blue match *that* would be my question. Also does velvet match the tone of the event (like id think velvet might look out of place on the beach in the summer, for example). But, if he loves it, that’s what really matters.

I think navy would go great with the gray.

Navy is a great color match with Grey! If you don't want that though, you could always make his bowtie the color of your dress or your bridesmaid dresses

I think that would be fine. It sounds like it would pair well. I'd wear it.

Black tie for more classic look. My now husband wears blue ties to work all the time so he wanted something a little different.
