Boutonnieres

It’s your day so you can do whatever you want. My husband and his best made didn’t have matching boutonnières but I’m sure for some weddings they do. There are no rules. 😊

My groom has an ivory fake flower boutonniere and the best man has a navy blue one.

They don't! but for me we just thought it would be easier to have all the men have the same colored boutonnieres especially if you buy a pack or set

That's totally up to you. My husband and the best man had the same color as the groomsmen. To differentiate the best man from the groomsmen, he had a different color pocket square which was the same color as my husband's. My husband also had a different color vest and tie.

My husband had white and the groomsmen and fathers had red. The officiant had greenery.

All up to you! There's really no rule for this. We are doing similar but larger boutonniere for my partner, but the same colors as the rest of the GMs, dads, and grandfathers.

They don't have to if you don't want them to. My husband didn't want them so we skipped them all together and he and his groomsmen had pocket squares instead.

Thank you for help. We already ordered our Boutonnieres with our Bouquets, so we decided that the Groom is wearing white boutonniere and ring bearer white, and the Groomsmen are wearing royal blue boutonnieres. We had already placed order before I asked the question on Wedding Wire. 😄

That sounds like my idea. My Groom and Ring Bearer will have white and the Groomsmen will have royal blue boutonnieres.

Those look very nice and the answer is no. There is no right or wrong way for your men to be adorned/decorated it's your wedding. Have fun with colors and decor.
