Would it be weird if the groom wore a different type of flower than the groomsmen?

I don't think it's weird at all. My FH will be wearing a different flower and he's also wearing a different suit.

I don't think that's weird. That's a good way to make him stand out even more

No, I don't think so. It's common for the groom to differentiate himself by a different tie, flowers, vest, etc.

Not at all. My groom is wearing a different flower than the groomsmen. We wanted his to stand out. Our officiant and dads will also have different ones. So we have 4 different types with different flowers all will just be purple and white to match.

Nope. My husband had a larger and more elaborate boutonniere then the groomsman. His matched my bouquet and the groomsmen's matched the bridesmaid's bouquets.

That’s pretty common. It’s just another thing to set him apart on his special day

We had 3 types; one for the groom, one for the groomsmen and fathers, one for officiant and brothers not in the wp

FH and I are having our flowers different than everyone else. We have Burnt Orange, Cream, Burgundy, Hunter green, and Deep purple. We are the only ones that are having the Burnt orange in our flowers. I personally love that color so it's just for us when it comes to the flower and he will have a different flower than his GM as well.

I would want my FH to stand out from the groomsmen, which is why his boutonniere and tie will be different

Nope not weird. My fiance is thinking of wearing a different colored tux (still trying to convince him no tux lol). And his boutonniere is a blue rose with baby sunflowers and the groomsmen is just the baby sunflowers.
