I'm DIYing the boutonnières from shotgun shells for our wedding, but I'm having trouble figuring out how many we'll need... I know obviously FH + 4 groomsmen, 1 for my brother who is walking me down the aisle, & 1 for his papaw (his maternal grandparents are only ones living between the two of us). Do we need one for the officiant? And is there anyone else I'm forgetting that should have a boutonnière as well??? Thanks in advance!

    You don't need one for the officiant. I would only do them for anyone involved in the bridal party and fathers and grandfathers. If you have a ring bearer or any other little guy in the wedding, I'd do one for them too.

    You don't need one for the officiant. Any readers, parents, ushers, or ring bearers could also have one if you want them to.

    I'm still finalizing them, but this is close to what they'll look like in the end. I'm gonna shorten the grass looking stuff a little & wrap a small section of twine around the middle of the shotgun shell 😊
