Boutonnieres AND pocket squares?

I feel like there was a post on this but I can't find it. I was wondering, if we do pocket squares for the men's suits, would it be weird to do boutonnieres as well? Are boutonnieres the more formal of the two for weddings? Which did you all do? I have no clue about these and all the sites I have...

Are boutonnieres the more formal of the two for weddings? Which did you all do? I have no clue about these and all the sites I have been to are full of other terrible ideas so I don't really trust their judgment.

    I'm leaving the men's fashion up to FH because he's terrific at fashion lol. He'll probably do both, we're definitely doing boutonnieres.
