Boutonnière tricks and tips!

Hi friends!

I'm wanting to DIY boutonnières for my FH, his groomsmen, his dad + grandpa. First--am I leaving anyone out?! Various blogs say different things on who gets them.

Second--any tips on making boutonnières & where to purchase the materials? Hobby Lobby in my area only had large flowers and the tutorials I've read haven't been super helpful.

Thank you for any input! I'm lost on these!

    I would say and males that are important to you should get one.

    I'm having a very fall themed wedding so I'm making boutonnieres with leaves, pussy willows, copper wire and ribbon. I'll probably just glue on those clasp pins/safety pin things (sorry I don't know what they are called) instead of doing the traditional florist pins. I got all the materials at Hobby Lobby, Joann's, and Micheal's. Also try looking just on amazon! And I got all my inspiration from looking on pinterest.

    Try looking on YouTube for tutorials on making them at lease that will give you a good starting point

    Maybe have one for your officiant if yours is a male!

    No tips on making them though, props to you!!!

    I think your father, grandfather, and/or any sort of father figure in your life is also supposed to get a boutonnière.

    I have no tips on how to make one because I'm not good at these things. But good luck!

    Also, any males doing readings or poems at the ceremony should have a bout.
