bouquets 💐

I'm not a huge (live) flowers person and I'm having all my bridesmaids carry clutches, so initially I wasn't going to carry a bouquet, but I couldn't find a clutch I wanted bad enough to walk down the aisle with to match my dress.

I found a shop on Etsy that did bouquets and other decor with handmade paper flowers (made from mulberry paper) and fell in love with some of their arrangements. I worked with them for a custom bouquet because I wanted to incorporate some of my favorite flower designs (cascading cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, peonies, and whatever else made it look good). I'm keeping it in the box they shipped it in until our wedding (next Saturday!) but it looks so lovely and I love how light it is to carry, it's like carrying air!

My bridesmaids are wearing mint dresses and the groomsmen have a light orange tie/pocket square, so I went with pastels and spring colors. I'm making the groomsmen's boutonnieres from dyed sola wood flowers, too:

Here is a picture of mine. I wanted a large bouquet with lots of color. My florist did an excellent job. Couldn't be happier.
